Grillz
How to Clean and Care for Your Custom Grillz
Simple habits that keep your gold bright and your diamonds sparkling — and a few things to avoid entirely.

Remove them before you eat or drink
This is the single most important habit. Food particles and sugar trapped against your teeth under metal accelerate both grillz tarnish and dental issues. Always take them out to eat, drink anything but water, and sleep.
Rinse and dry after every wear
A quick rinse in warm water removes saliva and bacteria before it dries onto the metal. Pat dry with a soft cloth — don't let them air dry with moisture trapped in the setting, especially if you have pavé diamonds.
A gentle weekly clean
Mild soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush (dedicated to your grillz only) removes buildup gently. Avoid toothpaste — many formulas are mildly abrasive and will dull a polished finish over time.
Never use harsh chemicals
Skip bleach, chlorine, and standard jewelry-cleaning dips unless we've specifically told you they're safe for your piece — opal and certain gemstone settings are especially sensitive and can be damaged by chemicals that are perfectly fine for solid gold.
Store them properly
Keep grillz in the case they came with, away from other jewelry that could scratch the surface. Tossing them loose in a bag or pocket is the fastest way to pick up scratches on a polished finish.
When to bring them back to us
If a stone feels loose, the fit no longer feels snug, or the polish looks dull despite regular cleaning, bring them in — small issues are quick and inexpensive to fix, and catching them early protects the piece long-term.
